Senior Hybrid DevOps Engineer | Trondheim

We're excited to offer a great opportunity for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our client's IIoT enterprise in Trondheim. In this role, you'll lead in designing, implementing, and maintaining the foundational architecture for our clients' IIoT solutions.

Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and quality assurance, you'll ensure smooth deployment, functionality, and monitoring of applications. Your expertise will be key in enhancing efficiency and reliability across the deployment lifecycle, maintaining top performance standards and strong monitoring practices.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure and systems required for solutions, including but not limited to: cloud-based platforms, databases, networking, and security.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth and efficient deployment of applications, including continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, automated testing, and release management.
Develop and implement automation scripts, tools, and processes to improve efficiency and scalability of systems.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior members of the DevOps team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical expertise, and drive DevOps best practices across the organization.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on cloud-based solutions and IIoT.
Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, or Google Cloud, including infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release management practices.
Proficient in scripting and automation using tools such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
Strong understanding of networking, security, and monitoring principles.
Fluent Norwegian language (written and spoken) is required.
