Senior DevOps Engineer | Oslo | Hybrid

We are pleased to announce a rewarding career opportunity for a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer to become an integral part of our clients IIoT organization headquartered in Oslo. In this pivotal role, you will assume responsibility for the conceptualization, execution, and upkeep of the foundational architecture and operational frameworks underpinning our clients' IIoT solutions.

The role of Senior DevOps Engineer demands close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and quality assurance, to guarantee the seamless deployment, functionality, and oversight of applications. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving efficiency and reliability throughout the deployment lifecycle, ensuring optimal performance and robust monitoring mechanisms are consistently upheld.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure and systems required for solutions, including but not limited to: cloud-based platforms, databases, networking, and security.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth and efficient deployment of applications, including continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, automated testing, and release management.
Develop and implement automation scripts, tools, and processes to improve efficiency and scalability of systems.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior members of the DevOps team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical expertise, and drive DevOps best practices across the organization.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on cloud-based solutions and IIoT.
Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, or Google Cloud, including infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release management practices.
Proficient in scripting and automation using tools such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
Strong understanding of networking, security, and monitoring principles.
Fluent Norwegian language (written and spoken) is required.
