Senior DevOps Engineer | Hamburg

We are excited to offer a position for a Senior DevOps Engineer at a leading IIoT firm headquartered in Hamburg. In this pivotal role, you will take charge of crafting, executing, and upholding the infrastructure and platforms essential for our clients' IIoT initiatives. Collaboration with development, operational, and quality assurance cohorts will be integral to guaranteeing seamless deployment, functionality, and oversight of our applications.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure and systems required for solutions, including but not limited to: cloud-based platforms, databases, networking, and security.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth and efficient deployment of applications, including continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, automated testing, and release management.
Develop and implement automation scripts, tools, and processes to improve efficiency and scalability of systems.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior members of the DevOps team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical expertise, and drive DevOps best practices across the organization.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on cloud-based solutions and IIoT.
Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, or Google Cloud, including infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release management practices.
Proficient in scripting and automation using tools such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
Strong understanding of networking, security, and monitoring principles.
