StaffHost digital is working with a leading global Microsoft partner, looking to expand their Microsoft Business Unit with a Senior Microsoft Cloud Architect hire.

As an Azure Architect you will be responsible to closely work with enterprise customers and different internal teams to enhance the customer’s cloud strategy and roadmap. You will lead the migration of workloads from on premise data centers to Azure public cloud using combination of service models such as IaaS, PaaS & SaaS.

You will guide and monitor the build of target environment in Azure and supervise the workload migration. You will be responsible to write High Level & Low Level design documents and ensure the build and migration is done as per the approved design. This role is also responsible to ensure the target state design is meeting security expectations and other requirements stated by customers. Azure SME will consider DevOps and automations are key considerations for all Cloud related work.

Successful migration of workloads to Azure and setup of IaaS and PaaS components to enable integration with On-Prem in timely manner will be a key outcome expected from this role.

Requirements:

• Fluent English and Swedish language skills
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in IT Infrastructure area such as Data Center Services, Virtualization, Storage, Cloud, Etc.
• Excellent knowledge of Azure Cloud Platform having at least one of the relevant certifications such as AZ 104 / AZ 303 / AZ 304 etc.
• Must have closely participated in or led migration projects involving migration of workloads from on premise data center to Azure platform
• Must have sound knowledge in setting up IaC through Azure DevOps tools and experience with other Azure platform services such as monitoring, automation, RBAC, etc. 2.)
