Lead AWS Architect

In response to substantial investments in bolstering the Nordic sector, we seek a Lead AWS Architect to join the Professional Services Practice in Vienna, Austria.

 

Position:
As Lead Cloud AWS Architect, you'll spearhead the transformation of client needs into visionary strategies and roadmaps, driving the implementation of data platforms, multi-cloud solutions, and cloud data warehouses. Beyond the responsibilities typical of a Senior Cloud Architect—such as managing RFPs, facilitating client design workshops, and leading joint solution architecture discussions—this autonomous role offers the opportunity to provide thought leadership on AWS, AI, and Analytics initiatives within the organization's cloud center of excellence.

Required Expertise:

• Certified as an AWS Solution Architect, Engineer, or Consultant, with a proven track record in envisioning and architecting solutions within AWS.
• Proficiency in PaaS services pertaining to Data, Analytics, and endpoint API interfaces—EMR, Dataproc, Databricks, and more.
• Experience in defining migration strategies and executing workload migrations to private or public IaaS providers.
• High-level awareness of partner technologies, offering alternatives to native services such as Snowflake, Cloudera, Talend, Informatica, Confluent, etc.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in German is advantageous, though fluency in English alone will be considered.
