As a result of sustained, significant investment in growing the Nordic practice there is a requirement for a Lead AWS Architect within the Professional Services Practice.

Role:

As a Lead Cloud AWS Architect, you will be responsible for leading the transformation of customer requirements into visions, strategies and roadmaps to implement data platforms, multi-cloud and cloud date warehouse.

In addition to the tasks typically expected of a Senior Cloud Architect such as RFP’s, client design workshops and leading joint solution architecture discussions; this autonomous role will provide thought leadership regarding AWS, AI and Analytics initiatives within the organisation’s cloud centre of excellence.

This organisation is in a very strong long-term financial position and is committed to continued growth in this area. They have a high number of ongoing projects that are unaffected by global conditions and demand remains high.

Required skills:

• A certified AWS Solution Architect, Engineer or Consultant with experience in envisioning and architecting solutions in AWS.
• Understanding of PaaS services relating to Data, Analytics and end-point API interfaces – EMR/Dataproc/Databricks etc. 
•  Experience in defining approach and migrating workloads to a private or public IaaS provider.
• High-level awareness of other partner technologies, which are alternative to native services like Snowflake, Cloudera, Talend, Informatica, Confluent, etc. 
• Excellent communication and presentation skills. Norwegian language is beneficial however English alone can be considered.
