Database Administrator (DBA) In Trondheim |

We are looking for an MSSQL DBA that wants to be part of an organisation that is know for there culture and fun working enviroment. They are a provider of multi-cloud platforms, with a wide range of infrastructure offering security, resilience, and compliance for customers' businesses.

In the role of Database Administrator, you will:

  • Be part of a competent team where they share knowledge and experience with each other.

  • Operation of our customers' environments primarily within our area of expertise database.

  • Create and maintain system and unit documentation.

  • Deliver services of the highest quality through following best practice, attention to detail, test coverage and system testing on a timely basis.

  • Manage installs, upgrades, and migration.

  • Develop and improve our database services.

  • Work on different projects.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience from working with Microsoft SQL databases.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL server.

  • Familiarity with Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other database platforms.

  • Practical experience in troubleshooting performance problems and backup strategies.

  • Experience of orchestration and automation in the field of Microsoft SQL and database platform (e.g. implementation, operational measures, etc.).

  • Great logical and analytical skills and an ability to create structure in your work.

  • Fluent language skills in Norwegian and English, spoken and written.
