Role Overview:

We are currently seeking a talented Power BI Consultant to join our client's dynamic team in Norway. As a Power BI Consultant, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions utilizing the Microsoft Azure tech stack. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the digital evolution of the energy industry.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights using Power BI.
• Design and develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports.
• Work with Microsoft Azure technologies, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and other relevant tools within the Azure ecosystem.
• Utilize your expertise to optimize and enhance existing Power BI solutions.
• Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective utilization of BI tools.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Power BI Consultant or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
• Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Azure tech stack, particularly Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL Database.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Requirements:

• Relevant certifications in Power BI and Microsoft Azure are a plus.
• Experience working in the energy sector is advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
