​Senior Data Engineer position | Oil and Gas industry | Experts in Digital Transformation | Oslo, Norway

I have had a fantastic new position come up within one of Norway’s leading companies, in a team with a specialist focus on the Oil and Gas industry. They are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to play a crucial role within the Data and Analytics side of the team, designing, developing and maintaining Data Architecture.

You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and objectives, and design and implement robust, scalable and efficient data pipelines for ETL of data. As one of Microsoft’s #1 partners, you will be working with the most up to date modern tools and technology in the space, and have access to new products before anyone else.

For this role you will need:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a proven track record of designing and developing Architecture.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Fluency in Norwegian and English.

• Excellent problem solving skills.
