They are seeking a dedicated professional to fortify their internal systems against security threats while ensuring optimal performance and operational efficiency.

Job Description

As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in configuring and maintaining the security of their cloud environment, which hosts the majority of their critical applications. Collaborating closely with a team of 4 dedicated professionals, you will set up applications in a secure and resilient cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain security measures for their cloud environment, predominantly on Azure.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure the security of cloud-hosted applications.
• Implement and optimize security measures to protect against potential threats.
• Work closely with the team on ongoing assignments to enhance cloud security.
• Play a hands-on role in the implementation and configuration of cloud security measures.
• Utilize Microsoft Security tools, network security protocols, and EDR tools, such as Microsoft Defender.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in cloud security engineering.
• Proficiency with the Azure cloud platform.
• Background in IT infrastructure is preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Security tools, network security, and EDR tools.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and configure cloud security measures.
• Nice to have: Azure certifications and infrastructure knowledge.
